Recombinant lentivirus is a widely used vector for efficient gene delivery into mammalian cells. Unlike plasmid DNA, which provides only transient, episomal expression, lentiviral vectors integrate into the host genome, enabling stable, long-term expression of your gene of interest. Our packaging service delivers high-titer, high-quality lentiviruses for overexpression, knockdown, or knockout applications, along with control viruses and detailed electronic reports. With rigorous quality control, validated titers, and fast turnaround, our lentivirus packaging ensures reproducible, efficient gene modulation for diverse in vitro and in vivo research applications.

After diluting the virus to a uniform titer, take 10 μL of the viral solution and perform serial 10-fold dilutions up to 10⁶-fold. Use 100 μL of the 10-fold and 10⁶-fold diluted virus to infect 293T cells. After 72 h of infection, randomly select a field of view and take a photo (magnification 100×).
Using your existing plasmid: The virus can be packaged and delivered in approximately 12–15 days.
Including plasmid construction: If we also need to construct the plasmid for your gene of interest, the full process typically takes 15–25 days, depending on the gene size, complexity, and any special design requirements.
Factors that can affect timing:
Gene length (genes over 2 kb may require extra time)
Sequence complexity or modifications
