The rice field eel genome sequence information (NCBI database) was utilized to select RPL17 as the reference gene. Primers were designed using Primer 5.0 software and synthesized by Qingke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China), with corresponding gene sequences presented in Table 2. Total RNA extraction was performed using the RNAiso Easy kit (9109).
